How I Got Here

After spending my entire childhood with my nose buried in a book, it was a no-brainer for me to dedicate myself full-time to the writing profession. Since then, I’ve been very fortunate to have honed my craft at one of the best journalism schools in the US, the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. 

I am incredibly proud of what I have accomplished during my time at Newhouse. Not only have I completed my M.A. in Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism, but I’ve taken on a ton of roles that challenged me both personally and professionally. From interning for a community newspaper to leading an entire team of writers as part of two magazine launches, I am confident in my abilities as a journalist and editor.

I look at the world through a writer’s lens. I see stories in everyday life just waiting to be told and do my best to be the medium through which they reach the page. As a storyteller, it is my goal to share your story with the rest of the world.
